Director Rohit Rao Narsinge’s Upcoming Film “Raindar” Poster Unveiled!
Director #RohitRaoNarsinge is returning with a new Marathi film titled Raindar. Sharing the first poster on social media with the tagline “It’s time to bring real stars to fake uniforms,” Narsinge created a buzz among film enthusiasts. The grand poster unveiling ceremony was recently held in Pune. Interestingly, the film’s unusual title has already caught the audience’s eye.
Raindar is produced by Sarthak Dhokale and Tushar Hore under the banner of M.R. Joker Entertainment. The story, screenplay, and direction are by Rohit Rao Narsinge himself, who will also act in the film. Abhijit Shinde will serve as co-director. The film, presented by M.R. Joker Entertainment, is slated for release in 2026.
The launch event was attended by director Rohit Rao Narsinge, co-director Abhijit Dattatray Shinde, producers Sarthak Dhokale and Tushar Hore, and members of the film’s technical crew. Prominent personalities present included industrialist Mr. Prakash Sheth Dhariwal, All India Marathi Film Association President Mr. Meghrajraje Bhosale, Bhosari MLA Mr. Maheshdada Landge, MLA Mr. Vilas Lande, corporator Mr. Vilasbhau Madigeri, corporator Mr. Sanjaysheth Vabhale, social worker Mr. Yogeshbhau Landge, youth leader Mr. Dineshbhau Yadav, corporator Mr. Vikrantdada Lande, and youth leader Mr. Shivrajdada Landge.
Speaking about the poster, director Rohit Rao Narsinge explained, “‘Raindar’ means a mimic or impersonator — someone who takes on different forms or disguises. Such people are full of layers and shades. Though the film’s language is rooted in the rural dialect, I assure the audience that it will touch their hearts. The film’s shoot will commence soon, and I’m incredibly excited for this project.”
