“Durge Durgat Bhari”, from ‘Punah Shivaji Raje Bhosale’, is a Song of Devotion, Faith, and Energy!
The first song from the film #PunahShivajiRajeBhosale, titled “Durge Durgat Bhari”, has just been released, filling listeners’ hearts with devotion and a renewed spiritual energy. By giving a traditional hymn a fresh contemporary musical touch, the song is now echoing across Maharashtra.
For the very first time, director Mahesh Manjrekar steps into the role of music composer, blending devotion with rich musicality to present a unique rendition of this timeless prayer.
The powerful and divine voice of Shankar Mahadevan elevates the song to new heights, while the thunderous beats of dhol and tasha (by Varad Kulkarni, Prasad Kulkarni, and Runal Sawant) create the electrifying atmosphere of a grand invocation. Adding to its magnificence, ID Rao’s horn arrangements infuse the composition with a majestic aura.
Further enhancing its impact, Vijay Dayal’s expert mixing and mastering at Yash Raj Studios give the song a polished and dynamic sound.
“Durge Durgat Bhari” is not just a song—it is a stream of devotion flowing from the worship of the Goddess, spreading spiritual fervor and energy into every home and every heart.
