‘Ek Chatur Naar’ actress Divya Khossla says, “I have felt that comedy is my genre”!

Actress #DivyaKhossla starrer Ek Chatur Naar is inching closer to its release date, and ahead of the same, she opened up about trying her hand in the comedy space and even shared that comedy is her strongest suit.

Divya shared that Ek Chatur Naar gave her the chance to dive into her comic skills as an actor. She said, “I have always, I don’t know why, but I have felt that comedy is my genre. And I have always longed, wished and prayed that I get to work in a comedy film. So when this came, I was like, finally, I’m getting to do what I wanted to do. Maybe people don’t know that side of me, because in real life also, I have that comic bone in me”.

She added, “So I think maybe that’s why I enjoyed it more. And I feel when you enjoy it and don’t take that pressure then, you know, it’s the best thing to happen to you, the journey is really nice”.

Audiences have seen Divya Khossla in romantic and thrilling spaces, but this time, the actress is keen on leaving viewers surprised with her comic bone through Ek Chatur Naar. Written by Himanshu Tripathi and directed by Umesh Shukla, the film is a black comedy thriller set against the backdrop of a small-town Indian landscape. The story revolves around a charming woman with a sharp wit and the ability to outsmart everyone. In addition to Divya Khossla, Ek Chatur Naar also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh. It is scheduled to release in theatres on September 12, and it makes for an apt comical watch in theatres.
