Heart-Wrenching Trailer of ‘Satyabhama’ Released!

Marathi film Satyabhama, centered around the inhumane practice of Sati, is set for release across Maharashtra on August 8. The powerful trailer, now out, has already stirred emotions and sparked curiosity among viewers.

Directed by #SarangManoj and #AbhijitZhadgavkar, and written by producer Manisha Pekhale, the film intertwines a heartfelt love story with a brother-sister bond against the backdrop of a brutal tradition. A young man, shaken by the plight of innocent women, rises to lead a revolt against the Sati system.

Presented by Shri Sai Srishti Films LLP and produced by Manisha Pekhale, Sarang Manoj, Ankur Sachdeva, and Viral Dave, Satyabhama features actors Madhav Abhyankar, Abhijeet Amkar, Bhavika Nikam, Srushti Malvande, and several others. The film has already made its mark at global film festivals including Berlin Lift-Off, Sweden, Eastern Europe, and Jagran.

With evocative music by Nikhil Mahamuni, cinematography by Jitendra Acharekar, and a strong social message, Satyabhama promises to be more than a period drama—it’s a voice against historical injustice and a reminder of women’s ongoing fight for dignity.
