Himani Shivpuri and Rohitashv Gour talk about how astrology and numerology shape their thinking!
From reading horoscopes over morning tea to finding guidance in number vibrations, astrology and numerology continue to spark curiosity and comfort. For some, these age-old practices are spiritual signposts; for others, they are feel-good rituals woven into daily life. Among those who find value in these cosmic cues are popular &TV actors Himani Shivpuri (Katori Amma, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) and Rohitashv Gour (Manmohan Tiwari, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai), who opened up about how astrology and numerology shape their thinking, routines, and outlook.
Himani Shivpuri, who plays Katori Amma in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares with warmth, “I wouldn’t call myself a hardcore believer in astrology, but it has quietly been a part of my life for years. Every morning before I step out, I glance at the day’s horoscope in the newspaper. It’s not about predicting the future but starting the day with a sprinkle of positivity. A few good lines can shift your mood for the better. The funny thing is, by the end of the day, I often forget what it even said, but that moment of optimism stays.” She adds, “During temple visits or while travelling with friends, I have had my palm read a few times, mostly for fun or at someone’s insistence. And each reader said something different, though all of it was positive. That’s when I realised astrology is intriguing, but it’s not a manual for life. I rely more on karma and my mindset. I believe if you do your work sincerely and stay kind and positive, the universe will find a way. Maybe astrology isn’t always accurate, but is it your attitude? That’s everything.”
Rohitashv Gour aka Manmohan Tiwari shares, “For me, numerology has always resonated deeply. It’s not just about lucky numbers; it’s about understanding the energy behind decisions and events. Before taking any major step in life, I often consult numerology. It helps me feel grounded and gives me clarity. People often dismiss it as superstition, but to me, it’s about vibration and intuition. Numbers carry their rhythm, and when you learn to read that, it’s like a compass. In confusing or overwhelming times, I have found that numerology offers comfort and direction. It’s not a crutch, it’s a tool. And if something helps you stay balanced and confident, why not hold onto it? Life is unpredictable, and sometimes, even a little guidance can go a long way.”
