“I would love to stage ‘Shevgyachya Shenga’ in Hindi”, says Anupam Kher!
Veteran Bollywood actor and director Anupam Kher recently attended the rehearsals of #ShevgyachyaShenga, an upcoming Marathi play written and directed by #GajendraAhire.
Kher closely observed the rehearsals, paying attention to the performances, dialogue delivery, and the connection between the actors and the audience.
Speaking about his experience, Kher said, “I would love to bring this play to the Hindi stage. While watching Avinash Narkar perform, I clearly understood what exactly I would like to present in Hindi. In fact, I have even recorded a few scenes in that context.”
His presence proved to be truly inspiring for the director and the entire team, giving them fresh energy and motivation for their upcoming shows.
The play features Aishwarya Narkar, Avinash Narkar, Nandita Patkar, Apoorva Gore, Ankita Dipti, and Sakar Desai in key roles. Produced by Deepti Pranav Joshi, with co-producers Rahul Karnik, Pulkeshi Jape, and Dr. Mandar Joshi, the play is presented by Atharva Theatres’ Santosh Bharat Kanekar.
Shevgyachya Shenga will premiere on 27th September at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyamandir, Kothrud, Pune, followed by Mumbai shows on Saturday, 4th October at 4:30 PM at Dinanath Natyagriha, Vile Parle, and Sunday, 5th October at 4:30 PM at Kalidas Natyagriha, Mulund.
