INCA announces the winners of their first edition of Awards!

The Indian National Cine Academy (INCA) Awards is all set to take place on 16th April 2026 in Mumbai. After unveiling the nominations for its much-awaited inaugural edition, the academy has now announced the winners. The prestigious ceremony will be hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Rana Daggubati. Established with the vision of encouraging collaboration among film industries across India’s multiple languages, INCA seeks to bring together artists, technicians, producers and industry institutions under a unified academy-led framework that recognises outstanding achievements in cinema. The initiative is supported by the Producers Guild of India as the Chief Patron. The prestigious awards spans across 21 categories including 12 varied industries and languages.

Dhurandhar, Lokah and Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 emerged as the biggest winners, leading across major categories. Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in Hindi Award, while Yami Gautam took home Best Actress In Hindi for Haq. Ahaan Panday won Best Debut Actor for Saiyaara, while Riya Shibu was named Best Debut Actress for the Malayalam film Sarvam Maya. Rashmika Mandana wins the best actress in Telugu for The Girlfriend, Best Actor in Telugu is won by Naga Chaitanya. Dulquer Slman wins the Best Actor Award for Kaantha in Tamil, Prosenjit Chatterjee bags Best Actor in Bengali for Devi Chowdhurani.

Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Mishra winning Best Playback Singer Female and Male respectively for Saiyaara and Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound won Best Story & Screenplay.

The INCA Awards Ceremony will take place on 16th April in Mumbai and is expected to witness the participation of leading filmmakers, actors, technicians, producers and industry leaders from across the country, making it one of the most significant gatherings of the Indian film fraternity.
