‘Krantijyoti Vidyalaya – Marathi Medium’ has wrapped up its shoot in Alibaug!
Filmmaker #HemantDhomes upcoming project Krantijyoti Vidyalaya – Marathi Medium has successfully wrapped up its shoot in Alibaug and the surrounding areas. The film addresses, in an engaging and entertaining manner, the declining number of Marathi schools and the importance of education in one’s mother tongue.
Ever since its announcement, audiences were curious to know who would feature in the film. That curiosity has now been rewarded with the unveiling of the poster. Though the actors’ faces are not revealed in it, one thing is certain—the film boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast.
Veteran actor Sachin Khedekar, young stars Amey Wagh and Siddharth Chandekar, popular actresses Kshiti Jog and Kadambari Kadam, along with Harish Dudhade and Pushkaraj Chirputkar, all play pivotal roles. Adding to the excitement, social media sensation Prajakta Koli will be making her debut in Marathi cinema through this film. With such a strong line-up, the movie promises to be a true treat for audiences.
Director Hemant Dhome shared his delight, saying, “I completed my schooling in Raigad district, and it brings me immense joy that I was able to shoot this film on Marathi schools in the very same region. The overwhelming response we received after the announcement encouraged us, and now that filming is complete, my confidence in the project has grown even stronger. The actors and my entire team are the real strength behind this film. We look forward to bringing it to audiences very soon.”
Produced under the banner of Chalchitra Mandali by Kshiti Jog, the film is both written and directed by Hemant Dhome. The release date will be announced shortly.
