Hackneyed!
Ajay (Mahajani) and Ketaki (Joshi), marry in court, against the wishes of his parents but things get stuck when the wedding is being planned. Seven years later, they have a child, prosperous jobs and a sprawling apartment but Ketaki feels that they have fallen out of love and decides to break up and go their separate ways. When Ketaki presents Ajay with an ultimatum, the estranged parents of both suddenly switch to a forgive-and-forget mode.

THE PLUS POINTS:
The film has brilliant performances by first rate theatre actors. Gashmeer Mahajani steals the scene with his sterling performance in a different role. Sameer Vidwans deserves kudos for making a heartwarming film which also tugs at your heart.

THE MINUS POINTS:
Spruha Joshi is fine, although her character is half baked and is too harsh at times, leading her to lose the audience’s sympathy. The film tends to lose its main focus and follows the list of clichés found in any family drama before cramming the important discussion in the final scene and is hackneyed at times.

THE VERDICT:
I have no problem to recommend you to watch Mala Kahich Problem Nahi which deals with a contemporary issue, of urban romance, which rarely figures in Marathi cinema.
