Mithoon and Palak Muchhal pay musical tribute to Raj Kapoor and Manoj Kumar!

This was the first time ever that Mithoon and #Palak came together to perform live. There was a lot of buzz around their performance at the Zee Cine Awards, as it was a collaboration of two of the most powerful forces in the music industry.

Palak is known and loved across the world for her nuanced vocal expressions and her command over pitch-perfect renditions. Her unique style of singing is deeply rooted in the Indian film tradition. She has been carrying forward the legacy of sanctified Indian Film Music for over a decade and continues to garner appreciation and love not only for her super-hit Bollywood songs but also for her mastery in live concerts.

She was matched for the first time with Mithoon’s Midas touch. The maestro Mithoon reimagined the classics of #RajKapoor and #ManojKumar in his own signature style. He presented these evergreen songs in a never-heard-before avatar with 50 musicians — not imports, but members of our very own Hindi Film Orchestra.
