Musical Extravaganza ‘Zhing’ Set to Entertain Audiences from September 19!

Bringing a vibrant dose of music, emotions, and drama, the upcoming Marathi film ‘Zhing’ is produced under Dream Laltan Production and Redbricks Motion Picture. The film is produced by Deepak Petkar and Saurabh Kirankumar Kumbhar, directed by #AmitValmikKohli, with cinematography by Pratap Joshi. Music is composed by Padmanabh Gaikwad, lyrics are penned by Mukund Bhalerao, Mandar Cholkar, and Shubham Chaudhary, while #AshishPatil serves as the choreographer.

At its heart, ‘Zhing’ is the story of Kisna, a mischievous yet pure-hearted young man from a small village, who dreams of fulfilling his late father’s unachieved wish, to set up a Tamasha folk theatre troupe. Through determination, and despite facing his grandfather’s opposition, the villagers’ skepticism, and political hurdles from the village head, Kisna’s journey becomes one of hope, grit, and artistic passion.

The film promises to capture the thrill of a grand musical performance filled with cheers and whistles, as Kisna attempts to win people’s hearts and bring his dream to life. But will he succeed in overcoming all odds, or will his dreams remain just dreams? The suspense around the character’s portrayal and the rest of the cast — still kept a secret by the makers — adds to the excitement.

With its mix of love, perseverance, and celebration of folk art, ‘Zhing’ is set to be a wholesome entertainment package when it hits theatres on September 19.
