National Award-Winning Director, Late Rajesh Pinjani’s Final Film ‘Gotya Gangster’, Teaser Out!

#RajeshPinjani, who won the National Award for his acclaimed film Babu Band Baja, passed away untimely a few months ago. His last directorial venture Gotya Gangster is now ready to reach the audience. The animated teaser of the film has been launched, and the movie is slated for release soon.

Produced under the banner of Annapurna Productions, the film is backed by Annapurna Biradar, Rajeshri Biradar, and Sandeep Biradar, with Rutuja Patil and Shiv Lokhande as presenters and co-producers. Written and directed by Rajesh Pinjani, Gotya Gangster boasts an ensemble cast including Pravin Tarde, Prathamesh Parab, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Shrikant Yadav, Ashwini Giri, Bhushan Manjule, Vinod Vanve, and Aishwarya Shinde.

The story unfolds in a Mumbai chawl, revolving around the lives of three friends. Due to unexpected turns in life, the trio is compelled to commit a kidnapping. Meanwhile, a don named Chiman Bhai, who had fled Mumbai for Dubai years ago, suddenly returns. What follows is a rollercoaster of comic situations, witty dialogues, and nonstop entertainment.

With an engaging storyline, crisp dialogues, powerful direction, and remarkable performances, Gotya Gangster promises wholesome entertainment. Most importantly, this film brings to screen the heartfelt creation of a sensitive filmmaker like Rajesh Pinjani, whose Babu Band Baja had already showcased his cinematic brilliance.
