Covid 19 pandemic is playing havoc all over the world. As the country is under 21 day lockdown, everyone including film fraternity, is staying indoors. Everybody is mainting social distancing to avoid bigger calamity. But this trying period is making people emotional too. Film releases are indefinitely postponed due to theatres being shut, the makers are releasing web shows on OTT platforms.
Producer, director Nikhil Advani has announced his latest web show ‘Hasmukh’, albeit an emotional note. Nikhil Advani’s production house EMMAY has produced successful films like Satyamev Jayate and Bala House in recent times.
Nikhil Advani released a note commenting “In current times, flashy, even pompous announcements and pramotions, campaigns of new films and shows, seem like a distant past. Somewhere, as a filmmaker, I feel relieved from the noisy pressure of this. But it doesn’t escape me at what price this reset comes. As eamestly as we can, my team and I wish all of you good health and sefti in times. Let that be the only priority.
And in those moments, when you have the good fortune to slip away into the world of fiction we weave, do give a chance to a pretty unique show we are proud to bring to Netflix. Hasmukh’s trailer will be out on 7th April and it’ll start streaming on Netflix from 17th April ‘20 onwards.
