Everytime I hear the song, I get #goosebumps.
This year, I decided that while in my heart I will always hear #Lataji’svoice, I wanted to #payatribute to the nation and #TheNightingaleofIndia.
I requested Robby Badal to think of a different composition and he came up with a beautiful melody.
I have rendered my voice to the sing with reverence and gratitude. Our Mother India has given us so much. I would like this dong to be a tribute to our nation and our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion if our 75th Year of Independence, Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. This is my way of sending the strength of our Tirangaa to every household musically. Music has no borders abd through my tribute of Vande Mataram, I would like our National Flag to fly high in every Indian’s home and heart, the world over.”
