Produced by BhadraBahu Divine Creations LLP and helmed by acclaimed Marathi filmmaker #SantoshManjrekar—marking his Hindi directorial debut—Fakireeyat offers a rare and reverent glimpse into the sacred essence of the Guru-Shishya tradition, unfolding through the eyes of Babaji’s devoted disciple, portrayed with grace and depth by #DeepaParab. The film not only marks her much-anticipated return to Hindi cinema but also celebrates her in a role imbued with spiritual intensity and feminine devotion.

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, the film’s evocative poster was unveiled. It features the serene visage of Shri Mahavatar Babaji, flanked by images of other divine spiritual icons—Shri Swami Samarth, Shri Shankar Maharaj, Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, and Shri Lahiri Mahasaya—creating an aura of timeless divinity. Deepa Parab is seen with folded hands, radiating reverence, while actors Uday Tikekar, Sandesh Jadhav, and Vineet Sharma appear on the other side, setting the tone for a film steeped in spiritual storytelling.

With the tagline “A Story of the Guru and Disciple”, Fakireeyat transcends the boundaries of a conventional film. It is a celebration of India’s ancient philosophical heritage, illuminating the path of inner transformation.

Inspired by Anuja Janvalekar’s insightful books, Chirut Jalti Hai and Adhyatma: Ek Vidroh, Ek Kranti, the film’s screenplay is penned by Anil Pawar, who has also co-written the dialogues with Janvalekar. The film features a soulful ensemble cast, including Vineet Sharma, Akshay Vartak, Nayan Jadhav, Sandesh Jadhav, Anusha Sabnis, and a special appearance by Santosh Juvekar.

Musically, Fakireeyat soars with devotional compositions by Pravin Kunwar, lyrics by Samruddhi Pawar, and melodious renditions by Manish Rajgire, Manoj Mishra, Jasraj Joshi, and Neha Rajpal. The film’s visual poetry is captured by DOP Ajith Reddy, and refined by editor Nilesh Gavand.

Fakireeyat is more than a film—it is a spiritual offering, a philosophical reflection, and a luminous tribute to the eternal bond between Guru and Shishya, destined to inspire seekers across the globe.
