‘Punah Shivajiraje Bhosale’ to release on October 31!

“Shivaji Maharaj is returning to protect Swarajya!” — with this powerful announcement, Zee Studios has unveiled the teaser of Punah Shivajiraje Bhosale, written and directed by #MaheshManjrekar. The film releases nationwide on October 31.

Starring Siddharth Bodke as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the film also features Vikram Gaikwad, Shashank Shende, Mangesh Desai, Prithvik Pratap, Rohit Mane, Nityashree, and National Award-winning child actors Trisha Thosar and Bhargav Jagtap.

Punah Shivajiraje Bhosale showcases a never-seen-before fierce avatar of Shivaji Maharaj, addressing burning issues like the dignity of Marathi identity, farmer suicides, Marathi people’s place in Mumbai, and the arrogance of outsiders.

Director Mahesh Manjrekar said, “This film is my attempt to confront today’s society through Shivaji Maharaj’s thoughts — thoughts that not only created Swarajya but awakened an entire generation.”

Produced by #RahulPuranik and #RahulSugandh, and presented by Zee Studios, the film promises to be more than just historical — it is a dialogue with today’s Maharashtra.
