Review : Elio : Brings out the inner child in all of us!
Sometimes, watching a kids animated film feels really nice it brings out the inner child in all of us. And Elio does exactly that.
The film follows Elio, an 11-year-old boy who is struggling with the recent loss of his parents. He now lives with his loving aunt, #Olga, who gave up her lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut just to care for him. Despite her efforts, Elio feels lonely and misunderstood. He’s quiet, often bullied, and constantly daydreams about other worlds believing deep down that he doesn’t really belong on Earth. One of his habits is to go to the beach, sit quietly, and draw messages in the sand hoping that aliens from another planet might read them and hear him and come take him away. It seems childish, but to Elio, it’s a form of hope.
One day, his message actually reaches aliens from another planet. They bring him to a place called The Communiverse and, by mistake, make him their leader believing he can save them from a powerful villain named Lord Grigon, who wants to take over everything. Elio tries to talk to #Grigon but ends up in jail .While trying to escape, he meets #Glordon, Lord Grigon’s kind and thoughtful son, who doesn’t agree with his father’s violent ways.
From there, the story becomes an exciting, fast-moving adventure full of fun, danger, and big emotional moments. Elio and Glordon become friends and try to come up with a way to stop Grigon from destroying everything. Their journey is not just about saving a planet it’s about courage, friendship, and finding out who you really are. The animation is beautiful, from scenes on Earth to outer space. The voice acting also matches perfectly with the characters and their emotions, whether it’s a funny moment or a serious one.
Overall, Elio is a fun and heartwarming film that kids will really enjoy, and even adults can smile through. It keeps you entertained right from the beginning till the very end.
