Son of Sardaar 2

Review : ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ is packed with fun, chaos, and a bunch of crazy characters.!

Son of Sardaar 2 is a full-on family entertainer and total brain rot — in the best way possible! The movie delivers exactly what it promises: madness, old-school comedy, and yes, it really makes you laugh — especially at the line, “Kabhi hass vi liya karo.”

The story begins in Punjab, where #Jassi ( #AjayDevgn ) lives with his sweet Bebe, while his wife #Dimple ( #NeeruBajwa ) is working and settled in England. One day, she calls Jassi and informs him that his visa is ready. But when he reaches England, she shocks him by asking for a divorce. Heartbroken and confused, Jassi ends up staying at a friend’s place and avoids going back home to Bebe.

Meanwhile, in another part of England, Rabia (Mrunal Thakur), a Pakistani dancer, lives with her two friends, her stepdaughter Saba, and her not-so-loyal husband Danish (Chunky Panday). During a wedding show, Danish runs off with another woman for bigger stage opportunities. Rabia tries to stop him, but he escapes again.

Then comes a hilarious twist. Jassi’s friend sets up a meeting with a lawyer at a restaurant. At the same time, Rabia’s friends arrange a fake date for her at the same restaurant to make Danish jealous. Jassi and Rabia accidentally meet, and in the confusion, Rabia ends up stabbing Jassi in the hand with a fork! Feeling guilty, she takes him home — and that’s when the real comedy begins.

Meanwhile, Rabia’s stepdaughter Saba is in love with Goggi, the son of Raja (Ravi Kishan), a proud Punjabi father who insists his son marries a girl from a respectable family. So Rabia asks Jassi to pretend to be her father — and from there, full-blown drama and family madness follow.

Ajay Devgn returns as Jassi and absolutely nails it with his comic timing and Bollywood references. Mrunal Thakur is fantastic as Rabia, blending Pakistani and Punjabi energy with ease. Deepak Dobriyal is hilarious and memorable in a unique role as a trans character — his makeup, expressions, and antics are a total delight. Ravi Kishan adds his signature loud charm, while a special mention goes to the late Mukul Dev (Tony) and Vindu Dara Singh (Tittu) — their confusion scenes are riotously funny. And of course, Sanjay Mishra never disappoints!

In short, Son of Sardaar 2 is packed with fun, chaos, and a bunch of crazy characters. The comedy might feel cringe-worthy at times — but that’s exactly the point, and it works! With perfect timing, amusing animations, peppy music, and lively camera work, this film is a wild ride and definitely worth your time.
