Review: Tu Yaa Main: A Thrilling Love Story That Keeps You Hooked!

“Tu Yaa Main” is a gripping love-thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

The story kicks off with Maruti Kadam, aka Aala Flowpara (Adarsh Gourav), a poor but talented rapper with big dreams and 20K followers. While shooting a music video outside Aavni’s house aka Ms. Vanity (Shanaya Kapoor) her security drags him away. But they share a intense eye contact, and he spray-paints his “AF” initials on her door.
They meet again at his rap show, where he impresses her by dropping her name in his performance. As she leaves, he asks for a collab. She ignores him at first, but he chases her on his bike. After a thrilling stunt, she agrees. Their romance sparks, but soon things take a dark turn. They decide to escape to her beach house in Goa.
On the way, his bike breaks down, forcing them to stay at a nearby hotel. The next day, after an argument, Aavni heads to the pool to relax as swimming is her escape, and she’s amazing at it. But maintenance drains the water. The hotel manager warns her to get out, but she refuses. He jumps in to fix a pipe, only for a crocodile to devour him! As the pool empties, Aavni panics at the bottom. She tries to climb out, but a bench falls and knocks her unconscious. Maruti rushes in to help, slips, and falls too. Desperate, they pry open the drainage cover releasing the crocodile right into the pool with them.
The rest unfolds with nail-biting tension: Do they both make it out, or does the title “Tu Yaa Main” mean only one survives?
The VFX, jumpscares, music, and cinematography blend perfectly for a super exciting watch. Highly recommend.
