Richa Chadha set to produce a new non-fiction travel and culture series!

Actor-producer Richa Chadha is expanding her creative universe with an exciting new venture, a #nonfiction series that will explore travel, culture, and the stories that shape people and places. Known for her fearless artistic choices and her instinct for meaningful storytelling, Richa is now stepping into a fresh territory that blends real experiences with cultural discovery.

This new series marks her foray into the non-fiction space as a creator, further solidifying her evolution from actor to a multi-hyphenate film personality. The show is a fun look into the richness of Bharat’s culture, diverse communities, traditions, lived experiences, while bringing Richa’s sharp observational lens and sensitivity to the forefront.

Richa, who has always championed strong narratives, is committed to experimenting across all horizons both in fiction and non-fiction formats. Her debut production Girls Will Be Girls, which garnered global recognition and acclaim at multiple international festivals, stands as a testament to the kind of bold, nuanced, and honest storytelling she wants to bring to audiences. With this upcoming series, she aims to broaden that palette even further.

Speaking about this new creative chapter, Richa Chadha said, “I’ve always believed that stories exist everywhere in people, in places, in cultures we’ve never paused to understand. With this non-fiction series, I want to explore that world with curiosity and compassion. As an artist, I feel it’s important to keep experimenting, keep growing, and keep challenging yourself. Girls Will Be Girls was my first step in that direction as a producer, and this new series is another leap into a space that excites me deeply. I’m eager to bring real stories of travel, heritage, and human connection to life. I had done a sort of test run of this kind of content, during the 2nd wave of COVID with KINDRY. So I know it will touch the hearts of Indians all over the world!”

Richa’s upcoming project will spotlight diverse landscapes, histories, and untold narratives, aiming to inspire audiences to see the world through fresh eyes. More details about the series, including format and platform, will be announced soon.
