While many actors may find it difficult to move away from their families and live close to an outdoor set outside the city limits, Rohit Purohit, who essays the role of Alexander in Porus, has been stationed at Umbergaon with the rest of the cast including Laksh, Aditya Redij, Rati Pandey, Sameksha etc and has fallen in love with the beaches closeby.Rohit says “Umbergaon is a beautiful place and the beaches are amazing. Whenever I get some free time, I go to the beach to unwind. I get time to think, which is so important,” Rohit adds that he is loving the feedback that he is getting for the show.“People are appreciating my character and it feels amazing to be praised for your work.” he says. Rohit does admit that being away from his loved ones is hard. “It can be challenging to give your best performance when you are missing your family and friends. But you get used to it after a while”, exults Rohit. Porus airs every Monday to Friday, 8:30pm on Sony TV!
