Rupali Bhosale will be playing a double role, for the first time, in ‘Lapandav’!

A dramatic twist is set to unfold in Star Pravah’s popular show #Lapandav, revealing the long-kept secret behind two identical characters, Tejaswini and Manaswini Kamat. For the first time, actress Rupali Bhosale will be playing a double role in her television career.

Lapandav has been winning the hearts of viewers since its launch. While the show currently revolves around Sakhi and Kanha’s wedding celebrations, a major mystery is about to be revealed. The person whom Sarkar (Tejaswini Kamat) has been secretly meeting will finally be unveiled—and it turns out to be none other than her twin sister. Tejaswini and Manaswini are twin sisters, but driven by greed for power and wealth, Manaswini kidnapped her real sister twelve years ago, took her place, and became the face of the Kamat empire. Soon, viewers will learn that the Tejaswini they have been seeing all along is actually Manaswini in disguise.

Rupali Bhosale will portray both Tejaswini and Manaswini—two identical but contrasting characters. Speaking about the experience, Rupali said, “For a long time, viewers have been curious about why Sarkar behaves so harshly with her daughter Sakhi, who she secretly meets, and what her true intentions are. All of these questions will now be answered. Tejaswini isn’t really Tejaswini—she’s Manaswini pretending to be her. Manaswini is completely emotionless, living only for wealth and power, while Tejaswini is kind and affectionate. I consider myself very lucky to play two such different roles. It’s quite challenging, as I have to pay a lot of attention to the look and body language of both characters. I’m giving my hundred percent to balance both performances.”

Viewers can catch all these thrilling revelations and emotional twists in Lapandav, airing every afternoon at 2 PM exclusively on Star Pravah.
