Savaniee Ravindra Announces Her Music Label “Savani Recordz” With the Song “Mujra Shivbala”!
National Award–winning playback singer Savaniee Ravindra, who has carved a distinct identity in the Marathi music industry with her sweet, soulful and powerful voice, has now appeared before music lovers in an all-new role. Her melodious tone, expressive strength and the emotion she brings to every song have earned her a special place in listeners’ hearts, and now, taking this melodious journey forward, she is ready with her own music label. Under the name “Savaniee Recordz”, she officially announced her music label at a recently held event.
The label was launched at the hands of legendary Marathi singer Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar. Also present on the occasion were music personalities Avadhoot Gupte, Abhijeet Sawant, Kaushal Inamdar, Avinash–Vishwajeet, Nandesh Umap, Rishikesh Kamerkar, Mangesh Borgaonkar, Nihar Shembeker, as well as Lavani queen Megha Ghadge. Notably, the first song under this label has already been released for the audience. Offering salutations to Maharashtra’s revered deity Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Savaniee Ravindra has presented “Mujra Shivbala” as the debut track. Savaniee’s voice has taken the song to another level.
In this song, Savaniee Ravindra has performed not only the vocals but also the Lavani dance. The song has deeply resonated with Lavani performers, and on this occasion all Lavani artistes were specially honoured. Till today, Savani has consistently experimented in music. Under her YouTube series “Savaniee Originals”, she has sung in multiple languages. Along with film songs, she is also known for her musical experiments.
Speaking about this new venture, Savaniee says, “Overcoming all difficulties and with the support of my family and colleagues who believed in me, I have reached this point. Music is my true strength, and with that strength I am trying to create a distinct identity of my own. ‘Savaniee Records’ is not just a music label, it is my dream. Out of love for art, I am taking this big step in the form of Savaniee Recordz. Through this, I want to say that my own songs will of course be released on this label, but along with that, it will also help bring the work of respected singers and those who wish to do something new in music to listeners effectively. The logo of “Savaniee Recordz” is equally meaningful. It features a beautiful blend of the “chandrakor” (crescent-shaped forehead adornment), a symbol of Maharashtrian womanhood, and a vinyl record disc. This logo is not just a design; it reflects a winning attitude, a rich musical tradition and a promise of high-quality work in the future. Very few female Marathi singers take the bold step of starting their own music label and releasing songs under it. In such a scenario, the step taken by Savaniee Ravindra will certainly prove inspirational for many.
