Somy Ali shares a nostalgic post about actor Mithun Chakraborty!
While Somy Ali may not be acting anymore, she surely managed to make some great friends in the industry during her time here. Somy, who now runs a US-based NGO called No More Tears and helps save and rehabilitate victims of domestic violence and rape, took to social media to share a nostalgic post about actor Mithun Chakraborty and director #UmeshMehra.
Sharing a video from her film Yaar Gaddar, she wrote, “When you feel nostalgic, you watch your two favorite colleagues from Bollywood. Missing my amazingly kind co-stars, GG and @mithunchakrabortyofficial Thank you for getting this on Netflix, Umesh Mehra, another gem of an amazing human.” Yaar Gaddar (1994) is an action-drama film which also featured Saif Ali Khan. The film revolves around themes of friendship, betrayal, and redemption, set against a backdrop of crime and conflict. Somy acted in Bollywood films in the early 1990s and was known for Anth, Teesra Kaun among others.
