‘Super Duper’ singer Anshuman More says, “I want to continue singing good songs in the future”!
In Marathi cinema, the song “Kukdu Ku” from the much‑talked‑about film ‘Super Duper’ was loved by viewers as soon as it was released. The special buzz around this song is because of the young singer Anshuman Kailas More’s voice. In his very first big opportunity, Anshuman left such a mark with his melodies that his name is now on everyone’s lips.
Anshuman comes from the village of Vikharn in Erandol taluka of Jalgaon district and belongs to a very simple family. He is in the eighth standard at Saraswati Secondary School, and his parents run the household through farming. Though the family’s financial condition is difficult, his passion for singing has never faded. Growing up with his two younger brothers, he consistently honed his art, and his musical journey had begun much earlier. Anshuman has sung about 40 to 50 songs in the Ahirani language such as “Char Varis Na Pyar”, “Sajan Tu Balam Tu”, “Sang Na Rani”, “Kona Bharose Sodi Gai”. His song “Raja Mana Tu Raja Re” became especially popular. “Kukdu Ku” proved to be a turning point for Anshuman. He was selected through a statewide search across Maharashtra, and he made golden use of this opportunity. Thanks to this big break at such a young age, the entire Marathi film industry has taken note of his voice, and he has won the audience’s hearts with his very first attempt.
Speaking about this opportunity, Anshuman More says, “Getting a chance from Zee Studios feels like a big dream come true for me. I got to learn a lot while working with such big actors and directors. It was not easy to come this far from my village, but I always had my family’s support. I feel very happy seeing the response to ‘Kukdu Ku’. I want to continue singing good songs in the future.”
In the family entertainer ‘Super Duper’, Anshuman’s voice has brought a distinct energy. Looking at the success he has achieved with his first song and the response it is receiving, everyone is now watching his future journey with great interest.
Meanwhile, ‘Super Duper’, presented by Zee Studios and produced by Ninety Nine Productions and Siddhivinayak Productions, is a grand family entertainer arriving in theatres on 3 April.
The film is directed by Sameer Asha Patil, with Vijay Shinde and Naresh Borde as producers, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bhavesh Janavlekar as presenters, and cinematography by Sanjay Jadhav.
