The impact of corona pandemic brought everything to a standstill, literally. With curbs to move out, everyone was compelled to stay put in their homes. Now, with Unlock phases things are slowly moving towards normalcy. The entertainment industry has resumed shoots, albeit with a few restrictions.
In the last several years, due to it’s rich content Marathi films have gained respect all over the world. Even Bollywood bigwigs have taken notice of things happening in Marathi cinema. Marathi film makers have been exploring out of the box subjects and they are making rounds of International film festivals too.
Following the same tradition of exploring experimental subjects, a new film is on the horizon, named ‘Aani Ti Saha Paatr’ (आणि ती सहा पत्रं), muhurat of which was held in the presence of cast and crew of the film and the chief guest being Hon. MLA Aakash Fundkar. The film is being produced by Tahir Nakash Maner, Nilesh Pandey and Swapnil Vengurlekar. It’s written and directed by Devashri Kasture and DOP is Wasimbari Maner.
The story of the film is a suspense thriller that revolves around six friends and a female investigating officer. The film will star several well-known actors and its poster will be unveiled soon. Speaking on the occasion, director Devashri Kasture said, “For the first time in Marathi, the audience will get to see many new experiments through this film. I am sure that the audience will like this film which has a pacy storyline.”
