Talking about building a climax that fans have been eagerly waiting to witness, Abhishek Pathak shared in an interview, “I actually went through a lot of fan theories on Reddit and the Internet. We were like, ‘Four people are talking about this, five people are talking about that… so it cannot happen.’ We were trying to stay away from the obvious, and come with something that people weren’t expecting at all.”

The writer-director wanted to stay ahead of the numerous fan theories and ensure that the climax remains a secret even for a lot of crew members. Talking about shooting the conclusion, Abhishek Pathak further added, “We shot the film, came on the edit, and there was maybe a 10-day shoot pending. In the pending shoot, we actually recorded voice-overs and put everything on the edit to make it better… to hide information and reveal certain things in a way that people enjoy it much better.”

He also shared a hint about the climax mentioning, “The climax is the real (star of the) show, If the big reveal can be held for as long as possible, that’s the best thing.”

For the unversed, Jaideep Ahlawat first shared screen space with Ajay Devgn in Aakrosh at the beginning of his career. Years later, the two reunite in Drishyam The Conclusion, marking a special full-circle moment for Jaideep as he steps into the much-awaited franchise.

Speaking about reuniting with Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat shared, “It does feel like a full-circle moment, but I don’t think of it only in terms of the number of years that have passed. I think about the person I was when I did Aakrosh and the person I am today. That’s where the real distance is.
When I did Aakrosh, I was entering the industry and, honestly, I was still learning how to occupy space on a film set. Today, I come to the same actor with a completely different understanding of my own craft. So to be opposite Ajay sir now, in a film where our characters are essentially testing each other, has a different meaning.”

He further speaks about being inspired by Ajay Devgn’s remarkable consistency over the years. The Aakrosh actor shared, “What has remained remarkably consistent with Ajay sir is his economy. He doesn’t seem interested in showing the audience that he is acting. He trusts the scene. He trusts the character. And he trusts the audience enough to let them discover what’s happening rather than explaining everything to them.”

Devgn CineX, a rapidly growing luxury cinema exhibition chain in India, is stepping into a new era of expansion through two landmark additions to its footprint. By the end of this year, the company will launch an 11-screen megaplex in Bengaluru alongside a 7-screen complex in Hyderabad, establishing a firm presence in two of South India’s premier entertainment hubs.

The expansion builds on a strong run for the brand, which currently operates 57 screens across 19 locations pan-India, with 30 further screens already underway this financial year. The Bengaluru megaplex will be among the brand’s largest destinations to date, while the Hyderabad property extends its reach into a market known for its discerning, experience-hungry audiences. Together, the two launches mark a significant step in Devgn CineX’s plan to become one of the country’s leading exhibition players.

The growth comes at a moment when the brand is redefining what a trip to the movies can mean. Beyond the film itself, Devgn CineX has built its identity around hospitality, premium dining and immersive technology, from live screenings of marquee sporting events such as T20 cricket and the FIFA World Cup, to curated menus including bento-box concepts and healthier dining options, to venues that double up as spaces for corporate events and private celebrations. Digital engagement, loyalty programmes and data-led personalization are being woven in to make every visit more experiential and rewarding.

With India’s exhibition sector at an inflection point, driven by rising aspirations, growing discretionary spends and premium retail development, Devgn CineX is positioning itself not merely as a destination to watch films, but as a curator of experiences and relationships with its guests.

#AjayDevgn, Founder, Devgn CineX, “Bengaluru and Hyderabad have always had a strong connection with cinema and the audiences here have given my films a lot of love over the years. Hindi cinema’s most celebrated thriller franchise returns for its final chapter with a completely original story and brand-new screenplay.

For years, Drishyam has kept audiences invested in the world of Vijay Salgaonkar, an ordinary man whose intelligence and instinct have helped him stay one step ahead of the law to protect his family. Through its gripping storytelling, the franchise has constantly challenged audiences to question what they see, what they know and where the truth really lies.

Taking this thought forward, the intriguing new eye posters of DRISHYAM THE CONCLUSION reflect one of the most defining ideas of its world, reality can change depending on perspective and how you choose to see it. The posters offer the first glimpse into what awaits Vijay Salgaonkar as his story heads towards its conclusion.

#AjayDevgn returns as the iconic Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav reprising their roles. Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj join the ensemble in exciting new roles, raising the stakes even higher for the final chapter.

Writer and Director Abhishek Pathak brings a fresh story and an entirely new screenplay, DRISHYAM THE CONCLUSION taking forward the intrigue, suspense and powerful storytelling that audiences anticipate with the franchise.

This time, Vijay Salgaonkar faces his greatest challenge yet, with everything he has fought to protect at stake.

Presented by Star Studio18, the Panorama Studios production is directed by Abhishek Pathak and written by Abhishek Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. Produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam The Conclusion is all set to release theatrically on 2nd October 2026.

The theories are getting more wild by the day. Fans are debating whether Vijay will finally get caught, whether the police can actually crack his plan, and whether someone new could enter the story and give him a real challenge.
The fan theories have also moved beyond the police. Some are imagining a new investigator, a journalist or even a true-crime creator reopening the old case.
Another big talking point is the new antagonist. Akshaye Khanna played IG Tarun Ahlawat in Drishyam 2, while Jaideep Ahlawat has joined the third film in a new role. Director Abhishek Pathak has clarified that Jaideep is not replacing Akshaye Khanna, which has only made fans more curious about the character he will play and whether he will be the person who finally gets close to Vijay.

Fans are also going crazy because nobody is sure how the story will end. The Hindi Drishyam 3 is not simply following the Malayalam version scene by scene. The makers have said that changes have been made to the story and screenplay for the Hindi audience, while Shriya Saran has also said the Hindi version is quite different. So even viewers who know the Malayalam story are leaving room for a surprise.

At this point, the biggest mystery of the year may not be how the Avengers survive Doomsday. It may simply be how Vijay Salgaonkar plans to survive everyone coming after him in Drishyam 3. Fans are already asking exactly that, and judging by the internet right now, they are going to keep trying to solve that mystery all the way to October 2.
