Taking up the socially relevant subject of delayed marriages among village youth, “Kurla to Vengurla” promises to deliver a heartwarming yet entertaining story that beautifully connects soil and relationships. Featuring a stellar cast, the film’s teaser has just been launched and is already creating buzz in the industry. Directed by #VijayKalamkar, the film is slated for a grand release on 19th September.

Produced under the banners of Cine Katha Kirtan, Chandrabagha Studios, and Aura Productions, the film is backed by producers Amarjit Amale, Vijay Kalamkar, Charudatta Soman, Nayana Sonawane, Avinash Sonawane, and M.V. Sharatchandra. The story, screenplay, and dialogues have been penned by Amarjit Amale, while the direction is helmed by Vijay Kalamkar.

Alongside the lead trio of Pralhad Kudtarkar, Veena Jamkar, and Vaibhav Mangle, the film also boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Sunil Tawde, Swanandi Tikekar, and Sainkit Kamat. Cinematography is by Ranganath Babu Gogineni, editing by Vijay Kalamkar, sound design by Avinash Sonawane, lyrics by Chanchal Kale and Amarjit Amale, with music and background score composed by Akshay Khot. The film will be distributed by Pickle Entertainment.

As India strides towards development, a widening gap between urban and rural lifestyles has emerged, resulting in the delay of marriages in villages. Rising aspirations among young women and other social factors have added layers to this issue. It is no longer confined to rural areas but is now prevalent across towns and cities as well.
