The motion poster of an upcoming Marathi film ‘Maya’ unveiled!
The motion poster for the upcoming Marathi film Maya, which explores the intricacies of family bonds, has just been unveiled, and it touches the heart at first glance. Far from being just a teaser, this poster sparks a meaningful dialogue about the intimacy, fractures, distances, and enduring affection in relationships.
The motion poster features family members from different generations gathered together. It subtly captures the understanding, warmth, gaps, and the unbreakable maya (affection) that persists in their bonds. The broken cup in Mukta’s hand isn’t merely an accidental shatter—it’s a powerful symbol of cracks in relationships, unspoken sorrows, and the voids life brings. Gazing at that cup, a question naturally arises: Could a relationship break just like this, unnoticed? Its edges still held tightly, yet never quite whole again? Even with the broken cup in her grasp, the calm, faint smile on Mukta’s face doesn’t deny the pain—it embraces acceptance.
Director #AdityaIngale shares, “‘Maya’ isn’t just about love; it’s about understanding each other, accepting imperfections, and nurturing bonds amid the flow of time. Life isn’t always neat and tidy. Some things break, some relationships evolve. The cup in Mukta’s hand symbolizes that, and her smile represents acceptance. Through this motion poster, we wanted to convey the film’s essence without words.”
Produced by Shalini Cinemaz and Nitin Vaidya Productions, Maya is brought to life by producers Dr. Sunil Datar, Alka Madhukar Datar, and Nitin Prakash Vaidya. Directed by Aditya Ingale, the film stars Mukta Barve, Girish Oak, Siddharth Chandekar, Vijay Kenkre, and Rohini Hattangadi in lead roles.
Set for a worldwide release on February 27, 2026, the poster has already sparked excitement among audiences, with expectations high that this heartfelt story of relational tangles will deeply resonate.
