Tighi

The trailer of the upcoming film ‘Tighi’ released!

A mother–daughter bond is hard to express in words… sometimes full of warmth, sometimes distanced by differences, yet always deeply connected. Tighi explores this same complex, emotional and realistic relationship, and its trailer has now been presented to the audience. The newly released trailer, which highlights the emotional core of the film, has further increased curiosity about the movie.

There was a special surprise for Bharati Achrekar at the trailer launch event. Her close ones sent her special wishes for Tighi through a video message. Singers Priyanka Barve and Sharayu Date performed songs from the film. On this occasion, Neha Pendse, Sonalee Kulkarni, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Suvrat Joshi, Jijivisha Kale, Jitendra Joshi, Sharayu Date, Priyanka Barve, Nilesh Moharir, Nikhil Mahajan, Suhrud Godbole, Swapnil Bhangale and actress Girija Oak were present along with the film’s team.In just a few minutes, the trailer vividly presents the lives of three women living under one roof. It effectively portrays the differences between a mother and her two daughters, the anger that comes out through small and big fights, the unspoken expectations, and the affection that is felt at every moment. All three women are facing different struggles in life. Each of them is seen grappling with her own questions. Yet at a crucial turning point in life, how these three stand by each other is the question that the trailer keeps alive till the very end.

The tagline “A mother’s home. A thousand memories.” also stands out strongly in the trailer. A home is not just four walls, but a symbol of stored memories, broken conversations and the threads that are tied back together. Balancing the tensions in the trio’s relationship with the love that underlies them, this film is set to make the audience reflect deeply.

Director Jijivisha Kale says, “A mother–daughter relationship is made up of many layers. Sometimes it is expressed through fights, sometimes through silence. Through Tighi, we have tried to present the true and honest side of this relationship. Every viewer will see their own home and their own relationships in it.”

The film stars #BharatiAchrekar, #SonaleeKulkarni and #NehaPendseBayas in the lead roles. Presented by Supri Media and produced by Coquelicot Pictures, Tighi is written and directed by #JijivishaKale. It is produced by Nikhil Mahajan, Suhrud Godbole, Swapnil Bhangale and Neha Pendse Bayas.

Looking at the mother–daughter bond from a sensitive and mature perspective, Tighi is set to release on 6 March, when audiences will finally see on the big screen how these three women support each other at that crucial crossroads in life.
