The entertainment world is experiencing a creative shift as numerous high-profile individuals have either made their directorial debuts or are set to do so this year. From seasoned actors to digital icons, here are five personalities stepping behind the camera in 2025.
Hrithik Roshan – Taking the Franchise Forward : Superstar #HrithikRoshan is moving beyond the frame, taking control behind the scenes for the fourth part of the #Krrish film franchise. Roshan is co-directing a high-octane action drama set for a Diwali release. It’s a natural evolution for the actor known for his perfectionist streak.
Ashish Chanchlani – India’s Biggest Digital Star steps into the director’s role : #AshishChanchlani, known for his relatable content and exceptional comic timing, is making his directorial debut. In this project, he will take on multiple roles: he will direct, act, and write the script, while also serving as the producer. He recently revealed an intriguing first-look poster for his upcoming horror-comedy, which will be released on the ACV Studios YouTube channel.
