This Christmas Prathamesh Parab Returns with ‘Gotya Gangster’!

The distinctive teaser of Gotya Gangster, the final film directed by the late National Award–winning filmmaker #RajeshPinjane, has been released. Set to the catchy track “Gotya Bhai” sung by Avadhoot Gupte, the teaser has already captured attention. The film is slated for release during the Christmas holidays on 26th December.

Produced under the banner of Annapurna Productions, Gotya Gangster is backed by producers Annapurna Biradar, Rajeshree Biradar, and Sandeep Biradar, with Rutuja Patil and Shiv Lokhande as presenters and co-producers. Shivakant Tiwari serves as the associate producer. Written and directed by Rajesh Pinjane, the film boasts a powerful ensemble cast including Pravin Tarde, Prathamesh Parab, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Shrikant Yadav, Ashwini Giri, Bhushan Manjule, Vinod Vanve, and Aishwarya Shinde.

The story revolves around three friends living in a Mumbai chawl whose lives take an unexpected turn, pushing them into a situation where they must commit a kidnapping. Amidst this chaos, Don Chiman Bhai — who fled Mumbai years ago and settled in Dubai — suddenly returns. What follows is a roller-coaster of hilarious moments, witty dialogues, and nonstop entertainment. The film promises an engaging storyline, sharp humour, strong performances, and impactful direction.

Rajesh Pinjane, who had previously won a National Award for his acclaimed film Babu Band Baja, was expected to deliver many more remarkable films. He completed the direction of Gotya Gangster, but his untimely demise turned this into his last cinematic work. Gotya Gangster is now set to hit theatres on 26th December, making it a memorable tribute to the talented filmmaker.
