Trailer Launch of ‘Krantijyoti Vidyalaya – Marathi Madhyam’ Unveiled at the Very School Where It Was Filmed!
The much-awaited film Krantijyoti Vidyalaya – Marathi Madhyam, which entertainingly addresses the plight of Marathi schools, had its trailer unveiled in a unique and emotional setting. The event took place right in the courtyard of the school in Nagav, Alibag, where the movie was shot. With classrooms, benches, blackboards, and the playground as witnesses, the cast and attendees relived their school and filming memories once again.
The film tells the story of a Marathi school on the brink of closure. The trailer shows former students reuniting after years to save their alma mater, standing shoulder to shoulder. In this reunion, they relive their school days’ mischief, friendships, teachers’ discipline, punishments, pranks, and innocent moments. Packed with nostalgia, the trailer tugs at heartstrings while being funny and touching on a sensitive contemporary issue. Amid debates on Marathi schools shutting down, the film highlights the importance of the Marathi language and education through entertainment.
