Aranya

Trailer of ‘Aranya’, A Heartfelt Tale of Forests, Struggles, and Relationships, Out!

The trailer of the Marathi film Aranya, inspired by real-life incidents, has just been unveiled, creating a wave of curiosity among audiences. It offers a gripping glimpse into the hardships of survival, the devastation caused by Naxalism, the complexity of human relationships, and the chilling realities of life in the dense forest. Beyond the thrill, the father–daughter bond at the core of the story promises to strike an emotional chord with viewers.

What makes the film even more special is that it has been shot entirely in the real forests of Gadchiroli, lending it a raw authenticity. The use of the local Vidarbha dialect, realistic visuals, and the natural setting breathe life into the film, making it feel less like cinema and more like an immersive journey into the heart of the jungle.

Director Amol Digambar Karambe shares, “Aranya is not merely a story about Naxalism. It is the story of ordinary people living in the forest—their battles, their bonds, and their struggles. We avoided all artificiality. Shooting in the dense jungles of Gadchiroli gave the film a distinctive fragrance of reality, and our actors blended seamlessly into that environment. The uniqueness of Aranya lies in the fact that it is inspired by true events. It is not only thrilling but also deeply moving, filled with relationships, hope, and pain. While watching, audiences won’t just see a story—they will feel the breath of the jungle, its terrifying conflict, and the warmth of human ties.”

Producer Sharad Patil adds, “For us, Aranya is more than a film—it is an awakening. We knew from the start that the journey would not be easy, as shooting in the jungle is a daring challenge. But that very challenge gave the film its strength. Truth, emotion, and suspense are woven together in this story. I am confident it will leave a lasting impression on audiences, offering them a cinematic experience unlike any other.”

Presented by S.S. Studio and Expo, in association with Adik Films, Aranya is written and directed by #AmolDigambarKarambe. The film stars Hardik Joshi, Veena Jagtap, Hrutika Patil, Vijay Nikam, Suresh Vishwakarma, Chetan Chavda, and Amol Khapre in key roles. Produced by Sharad Patil and Anjali Patil, the film is set to release on 19th September.
