‘Well Done Aai’ offers a fresh exploration of motherhood, poster released!
The poster for the upcoming Marathi film ‘Well Done Aai’ has just been revealed, generating excitement among audiences ahead of its theatrical release on November 14th. The movie, produced by Sudhir Patil under Deepali Productions, is written and directed by #ShankarArchanaBapuDhulgude, with story, screenplay, and dialogue contributed by Sandeep Gachhande and Shankar Dhulgude.
‘Well Done Aai’ offers a fresh exploration of motherhood—a theme that writers and poets have often tried to describe, but never fully captured. The film promises a warm, entertaining, and moving depiction, focusing on the enduring love and strength of a mother. Times may evolve, yet the compassion and affection of a mother remain unchanged, and this movie commits to presenting those timeless emotions with a blend of humor and heart.
The lead role of the mother is portrayed by Vishakha Subhedar, Maharashtra’s “Comedy Queen,” revered for her comedic prowess and memorable performances on Marathi television and stage. Her portrayal is highly anticipated, with fans eager to see her step into a role that will showcase both laughter and emotional depth. The poster features Vishakha radiating joy, cheerfully flashing a thumbs-up, as if welcoming viewers to join her in theaters. Actors Vijay Nikam and Jaywant Wadkar appear beside her, along with Ayush Patil, Simran Khedkar, Beena Siddharth, Tanvi Dhuri, Vipul Khandale, and additional cast members—all depicted alongside Vishakha on the vibrant poster.
From its visuals, it’s apparent that the mother character represents a contemporary, middle-class woman who goes above and beyond for her child’s happiness and welfare. Director Shankar Archana Bapu Dhulgude remarks that audiences will witness a unique portrayal of a mother, unlike any seen before, with a dynamic screenplay that maintains viewer engagement until the end. The mother’s character is designed to provide total entertainment, supported by melodic songs, exceptional music, and strong production values.
The soundtrack features lyrics by Sandeep Gachhande and music by Nishad Golambare, with cinematography handled by Ranjit Sahu and editing by Nilesh Gawand. The creative and technical team includes executive producer Rajpal Singh, production head Kafil Ansari, as well as Cinepolis distributing the film. Agnel Roman has composed the background score, Devendra Taware is credited with art direction, and Chini Chetan has overseen choreography. Additional crew members include Mayuri Bastawdekar for hair styling, Pratibha Gaikwad for costumes, Madhav Mhapanakar for makeup, Manas Redkar as associate director, post-production by Eye Focus Studio (Vijay Dinesh), and promotional visuals by Premankur Bose.
