The recently released teaser of ‘Zing’, a film that beautifully describes the essence of Lavani in Tamasha, has left viewers intrigued. The film is set to release in cinemas on September 19.

“What is Tamasha? Tamasha is a spectacle woven with colors, styles, and emotions. It is the fiery Lavani, the beat of the dholki, and the dazzling dancer adorned with anklets…” As these lines echo, the audience can’t help but raise their eyebrows with excitement. This striking description in the teaser of ‘Zing’ has gone viral within hours of its launch.

After the release of its poster, curiosity around the film had already been building, but the teaser has now taken it to new heights. Beginning with the simple question “What is Tamasha?”, the teaser transports viewers straight into the heart of a Tamasha performance.

The beats of dholki, mridang, taal, tuntuna, and wag, along with the laughter, tears, and dance that Tamasha brings, come alive vividly in the teaser. Amidst this vibrant world unfolds the story of Kisan, a carefree dreamer from a small village. He takes on the challenge of fulfilling his father’s unfulfilled dream—to set up his own Tamasha troupe—and the teaser leaves audiences eager to see how his journey unfolds.

What makes ‘Zing’ even more special is that all its actors are newcomers, yet their performances in the teaser have already struck a chord with the audience. A few glimpses of songs have also been revealed, making fans eagerly wait to dance along when the full tracks are out.

Presented by Dream Laltan Productions and Redbricks Motion Picture, ‘Zing’ is produced by Deepak Petkar and Saurabh Kirankumar Kumbhar, and directed by Amit Valmik Koli. The film features music by Padmanabh Gaikwad, while the choreography is done by Ashish Patil, popularly known as the “King of Lavani.” The cinematography is handled by Pratap Joshi.
