#IndependenceDay being around the corner, the gorgeous #SonaliBatra has captivated her audience in Bollywood films like ‘#Taish’, ‘#UljhanTheKnot’, ‘#Soni’ and ‘#Parchayee’. The actress is a fitness freak and also a trained kick-boxer who has received training under national boxing gold medalist Kamal Hussain. Saloni Batra is back to amaze her audience with her upcoming role in Zee 5 original web film ‘200 Hallo Ho’ that is all set to premiere on 20th August 2021. The web film is directed by Sarthak Dasgupta and produced by Yoodlee Films.
On this Independence day, Saloni Batra expresses her views on equal rights for women and the changes society needs to incorporate for a stronger nation, she exclaimed, “Honestly, I don’t think women are given the same equal rights as men, We are one step ahead but as a society, we have miles to go. Just yesterday I ordered something from Zomato and guess what a woman delivered the food to my doorstep. It made me immensely happy, so that’s where we are moving in the right direction but a delivery woman is a rare sight. A woman sitting in Bhopal, Delhi, Chandigarh or Lucknow still will have to think a thousand times before she does something like this and she’s most likely to not take it up. We would see many more women working if we were in a society that treated men and women equal and encourage them to do their jobs without any fear.”
She further adds on by justifying her wishes for the nation, she states, “In this year of independence that’s exactly the change, I would like to see in society. Treat men and women as mere human beings. It’s the 75th year of Independence and the concept of freedom is still not known to many. My only wish is to see that society has ceased to discriminate against people based on their sex or caste.” Saloni Batra goes on to mention that, “I hope every human being recognizes their responsibility and speaks up for themselves and the people around them so collectively we can step closer in the right direction.”
Apart from films Saloni Batra has additionally worked in a few sketch recordings on YouTube and has shown up in TV shows like ‘Life Sahi Hai.’ The actress has many exciting projects lined up which she will be disclosing soon.
