The music industry said no—but the people said yes. In just days, Hhasrat, a heartfelt track by #NiteshTiwari, #QaseemHaiderQaseem, and #AyushiTiwari, has exploded online with over 2 million YouTube views, proving that audience love can shatter industry prejudice.

Rejected by a top Bollywood music label, Hhasrat was turned down not for lack of talent, but due to the casting of Ayushi Tiwari, a respected actress from the Bhojpuri film industry.

“They didn’t even look at her performance,” said Nitesh Tiwari. “They dismissed her based on where she comes from. That’s the harsh reality we’re facing in mainstream music.”
Rather than accept defeat, Tiwari made a bold move: he released the song under his own independent label, giving the project the freedom it deserved.
