Bhumi Satish Pednekkar marked her presence at the recently held World Economic Forum’s annual meeting for future leaders in Dubai. The actress took to her social media handle to share a string of clicks from the prestigious platform, accompanied by a warm and reflective note. What makes her presence even more special is that she attended the event as a proud YGL graduate!

Describing the past few days as “fulfilling, rejuvenating, and full of purpose,” the actress explained how incredibly special it is to be in a room with individuals coming together from diverse fields yet sharing a common desire to make the world a better place. ”I always walk away with newer ideas, exciting possibilities, potential collaborations, and friendships that I know will stay with me for a long time. A YGL is always a call away, any city, any time,“ she shared.

Further, Bhumi mentioned that this year was “extra special.” “I graduated and officially became a YGL Alumni, Class of 2024. While one chapter may have come to a close, the journey, the learning, and the community continue,” she noted in her post.

“These are the people who give you wings and encourage you to fly, while also keeping you grounded when you need it most. And perhaps that’s what makes this community so special, you leave feeling inspired by what others are doing, challenged to do more yourself, and reminded of how much there still is to learn,” she added.

Beyond her cinematic pursuits, Bhumi has consistently maintained a hands-on approach to advocacy and social change, actively speaking out against gender-based violence, addressing the climate crisis, and championing causes with deep societal impact. Fueling the steady growth of education across regions, the actress is also actively working on building a tribal school in Madhya Pradesh.
