Team ‘Dashavatar’ Visits Ganapati Mandals in Mumbai for Blessings!
Every year, #Ganeshotsav in #Maharashtra becomes a vibrant platform for promoting upcoming Marathi films. Leading actors and filmmakers often visit prominent Ganesh mandals in Mumbai and Pune to seek blessings and connect with devotees. These visits create a direct emotional bond with the audience, as stars participate in aarti and darshan alongside common people. Many mandals even design themes or decorations inspired by the films being promoted, adding to the festive charm. The celebrations provide massive visibility since lakhs of devotees throng the pandals during the ten days of Ganeshotsav. For Marathi cinema, it has become both a spiritual gesture and a powerful promotional strategy. This blend of devotion and entertainment beautifully reflects the cultural spirit of Maharashtra.
The actors of the film Dashavatar—Abhinay Berde, Priyadarshini Indalkar, and Siddharth Menon—visited some of Mumbai’s most renowned Ganesh mandals to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. They offered prayers and performed the aarti at mandals such as Rangari Badak, Parelcha Raja, Mumbaicha Raja, GSB Raja, Chintamani, and Khetwadi Ganpati.
This year, the Khetwadi Ganpati Mandal has created a grand darbar inspired by the film Dasavatar, captivating devotees with its magnificent theme.
