Aamir Khan Urges Audiences to Return to Cinemas for 4K Re-Release of ‘Rangeela’!

#AamirKhan has shared a heartfelt message ahead of the grand re-release of Rangeela, inviting audiences across the country and world over to relive the timeless classic in its newly restored 4K format from November 28. Through a personalized video, the lead actor expressed how Rangeela remains one of the closest films to his heart, even three decades after its original release.

Aamir fondly reflected on portraying Munna—one of the most memorable characters of his career—and spoke about the joy and energy the role brought into his life. He celebrated A.R. Rahman’s groundbreaking soundtrack, calling it a cultural milestone that changed the soundscape of Hindi cinema. He also praised Urmila Matondkar and Jackie Shroff for their unforgettable performances, and acknowledged director Ram Gopal Varma’s vision, noting that his storytelling continues to keep the film relevant and beloved.

In an emotional moment, Aamir paid tribute to Rajesh Joshi, who played Pakya in the film and later worked with him again in Sarfarosh. He shared that the loss of Joshi in a tragic accident took away a remarkable talent who left behind a lasting impact.

Aamir concluded his message by warmly appealing to viewers to return to theatres and experience the film with their families in its enhanced edition. “Rangeela is one of my favourite films.
