Producers of ‘Battle of Galwan’, Honours Real-Life Army Heroes and Their Families in a Series of Special Videos!
After receiving an overwhelming response to the teaser of Battle of Galwan, Salman Khan Films continues to strike an emotional chord with audiences. The recently released songs Maatrubhumi and Main Hoon have further amplified the patriotic fervour, earning immense love across platforms. Now, the makers have unveiled a special series of videos featuring real-life Army veterans and their families, celebrating the silent strength that stands behind every soldier.
Sharing their videos, the makers wrote, “Battle of Galwan salutes the families of Army veterans who lived every posting, every farewell, and every homecoming 🇮🇳💕”
The first video features Mrs. Ganvi Chadha, daughter of Col. Mahip Singh Chadha from the 3rd Gurkhas, who served in the 1965 and 1971 wars. She fondly recalls the days when her husband was posted in field areas and communication meant booking calls through the local exchange, strictly following protocols. She shares how the family would miss him deeply, especially when cooking his favourite meals, and how those dishes tasted even better when he returned home on holidays and they could enjoy them together.

In the second video, Mrs. Savinder Manchanda, wife of Lt. Col. Jagdeep Manchanda (Retd) of the 16 Bihar Regiment, remembers the tense days when her husband’s unit was moved to Arunachal Pradesh, in an area infested by the Wangchuk tribe, where danger loomed constantly. Telephone lines were distant and unclear, but hearing his voice was enough to reassure her.
