Face the mystery together,” the campaign invites viewers to share the film’s tense, thought-provoking experience with a companion.

The film has attracted notable public and political attention. RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale attended a special screening, and a Delhi premiere saw the presence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who later praised the film on X. There are also reports that the film was screened at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Aakhri Sawal faced censorship hurdles abroad: the UAE banned the film after the censor board requested multiple cuts, which the filmmakers refused, insisting on releasing the original version. The movie has also been the subject of public interest through PILs filed over its content.
Starring Sanjay Dutt, Amit Sadh, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, Neetu Chandra, and Namashi Chakraborty, Aakhri Sawal is drawing audiences with powerful performances and an unflinching narrative style.

Directed by National Award–winner Abhijeet Mohan Warang, the film is presented by Nikhil Nanda and produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, with co-producers Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Utkarsh Naithani. Aakhri Sawal released in cinemas on 15 May 2026.
