Ram Charan Calls His ‘Peddi’ Co-Star Janhvi Kapoor a “Chhupa Rustam”!

At Peddi’s trailer launch, Ram Charan lauded his co-star #JanhviKapoor, calling her a “chhupa rustam” for quietly preparing and then surprising everyone with her work on set. Janhvi appears in a raw, previously unseen avatar in the film, and her transformation has already drawn widespread attention.

Ram Charan disclosed that the team shot continuously for about 85 days before filming a song, leaving little time to rehearse. “I didn’t even have time to prep for the song, but she turned up and executed it far better than me,” he said at the event, sparking excitement about their on-screen chemistry.

Describing her as a hidden powerhouse, he added, “She’s a chhupa rustam — quietly training in Mumbai without making a fuss. I haven’t come across anyone so hardworking.” He praised her commitment, noting that Peddi required absolute honesty and effort from every performer.
Getting emotional, Ram Charan also touched on the film’s personal ties, recalling his father’s past collaboration with the late Sridevi. He assured fans that the new pairing is fresh and promising, and “will not disappoint” audiences.
