‘Live’ Launched With Recording A Song!
In today’s digitally connected world, live content on social media has become hugely significant — and now that “c” experience is coming to the Marathi big screen with the film Live. The project recently celebrated its muhurat with the recording of a song.
Produced by Sumit Pandey under the Riddhi Biddhi Vision banner and presented by Chhabi Asim Halder, Live is written and directed by Sanjeev Rai, with dialogues co-written by Rai and Poonam Vibhute. The muhurat track was recorded at Recording Pancham Studio in Andheri in the presence of singers, musicians, filmmakers and other guests. Mahaling Kanthale has written the lyrics, while Dinesh Arjuna has composed the music. The important number “Swapna Sundari…” was sung at the ceremony by Dr. Neha Rajpal.
The film tells the moving tale of a heroine’s struggle as she fights for justice and her rights. Its theme is universal, and viewers may find the story echoing real-life events around them. With Live, director Sanjeev Rai and his team aim to portray a facet of reality that hasn’t been explored much on screen, while also offering commentary on society and its institutions.
Alongside a powerful narrative, the film promises evocative songs and music.
Composer Dinesh Arjuna described “Swapna Sundari…” as appearing at a pivotal point in Sanjeev Rai’s story. He praised Mahaling Kanthale’s meaningful lyrics and Dr. Neha Rajpal’s soulful rendering, adding that the song’s simple, appealing melody should connect naturally with listeners and become popular.
Cinematography is by DOP Gopi, and art direction is handled by Saifuddin Shaikh. Music for the film’s songs will be composed by Dinesh Arjuna and Aman Shlok Jha. While the makers say the movie will include a notable ensemble from the Marathi industry, they have kept the cast details confidential for now. Filming is expected to begin soon.
