Jazim Sharma, the “Shehzada-e-Ghazal,” Delivers Top-Tier Bollywood Tracks for Dulhaniya Le Aayegi!

Widely celebrated for breathing new life into the rich legacy of ghazals and connecting traditional Indian music with the youth, Jazim Sharma—affectionately called the “Shehzada-e-Ghazal”—is once again showcasing his immense range with his newest cinematic tracks.

The singer-composer has composed two distinctive tracks for the upcoming film Dulhaniya Le Aayegi, directed by Akashaditya Lama and starring Khushali Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Piyush Mishra and other acclaimed artists. The film brings together multiple composers, with Jazim contributing two memorable songs written by lyricist J.P. Gangwar.

His first track, “Kar Le Shaadi”, has already started winning hearts and emerging as a wedding celebration favourite. Packed with festive energy, catchy melodies and vibrant arrangements, the song has crossed millions of views shortly after its release. The track features the voices of Jazim Sharma, Deepali Sathe and Rimi Dhar.

The second song, “Jalwa”, showcases another dimension of Jazim’s musical personality. Sung by Suvarna Tiwari and Jazim Sharma, the track carries the grandeur and energy of a Bollywood dance number while keeping melody at its core. What makes the song even more unique is Jazim’s revelation that its opening couplet follows the essence and structure of a ghazal.

Speaking about the project, Jazim shares, “Ghazal has always been my first love. Even while exploring different genres, I try to keep the soul of melody alive. With Dulhaniya Le Aayegi, my aim was to bring director Akashaditya Lama’s vision into the music. The script really connected with me, and J.P. Gangwar ji’s words gave a beautiful foundation to the compositions.”

Known for his constant experiments with ghazals, classical influences and contemporary sounds, Jazim Sharma continues to create a bridge between tradition and today’s listeners.

The journey ahead looks equally exciting as he prepares a series of soulful projects, including ghazal albums featuring the timeless poetry of Jaun Elia, Farhat Shahzad, Ahmad Faraz and more. Alongside these, Jazim is also working on Sufi Punjabi tracks that promise another fresh musical experience for his fans.
