Ramayana stands as one of the most ambitious and monumental cinematic projects ever envisioned in Indian cinema. Conceived as a two-part global epic, the film is set to reimagine the timeless saga with breathtaking visuals, immersive storytelling, and a powerhouse ensemble cast, presenting the story on an unprecedented scale. To mark this milestone, the creators hosted ‘Pratham Sankalp,’ an exclusive trailer premiere event in Delhi that generated immense buzz and thrilled audiences. In the wake of the event’s massive success, producer Namit Malhotra shared his deep appreciation for the fans and industry support driving the film forward.

The makers took to their social media to share a video of producer Namit Malhotra expressing his heartfelt gratitude. He also spoke about his unwavering conviction and belief in bringing this monumental project to life. The caption reads:

Bringing this together with the story of the Ramayana, one of the greatest tale ever, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana aims to bring epic emotion to life on an unprecedented scale. The film sees Ranbir Kapoor embodying Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi bringing grace to the role of Sita, alongside Yash as the commanding Ravana. Sunny Deol steps in as the indomitable Hanuman, with Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with 8-time Oscar-winning DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the two-part epic will release in IMAX worldwide — Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
