Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Daayra’ Unveils High-Intense Poster Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran!

The producers today dropped a striking new poster for their eagerly awaited crime thriller, Daayra, which is set to hit theaters on 18th September 2026. Highlighting #KareenaKapoorKhan and #PrithvirajSukumaran in a dramatic face-off marked by raw intensity and composure, the visual offers a compelling look into the film’s dark universe.

Inspired by true events, Daayra is directed by national award winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and written by Yash Keswani, Sima Agarwal, and Meghna Gulzar. The film brings together Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran for the first time. Produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios and distributed by Pen Marudhar, Daayra marks the first collaboration between the two production houses. The film reunites Meghna Gulzar with Junglee Pictures for the third time after the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Talvar and Raazi.

The newly released poster positions the two protagonists on opposing sides of a cordoned-off investigation, visually capturing the tension at the heart of Daayra. It offers a glimpse into a world where crime and consequence collide, and where the boundaries between law, justice, morality and accountability are constantly challenged.
