Manoj Joshi’s Intriguing Look Unveiled Alongside Teaser From ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’!
Ever since its announcement, the upcoming Marathi film ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’ has remained a talking point, drawing the attention of prominent personalities from political circles and various other fields. Attempting to bring alleged controversial developments from Maharashtra’s political and social landscape to the silver screen, the film has sparked several questions among audiences. Whose masks will be pulled off? Whose secrets will be exposed? Whose behind-the-scenes activities will be brought to light? These questions have generated immense curiosity among moviegoers. With an element of mystery embedded in its very title, the characters in the film and their alleged real-life references have become subjects of widespread speculation. Adding to the excitement, the song ‘Captain Tumhi, Mi Nauka, Tumchya Premacha Table Taka…’ has now been unveiled, along with the first poster and teaser featuring the alleged fake godman, creating quite a stir and taking anticipation for the film to another level.
Presented by Anandi Pictures Amravati and Sachin Rode Patil, ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’ has been produced under the banner of Matoshri Entertainment World. Devendra Bhat, Suryakant Bhunde and Prashant Kadampure have shouldered the responsibility of producing the film. Through this project, director Swaroop Sawant exposes the menace of fraudulent godmen thriving in society and presents a hard-hitting commentary on such practices. Sanjay Navgire has skillfully handled the story, screenplay and dialogues, while the concept is by Sagarkumar S. Jain.
The song ‘Captain Tumhi, Mi Nauka, Tumchya Premacha Table Taka…’ was launched at a grand event organised at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Pune. The same event also witnessed the unveiling of the look of the alleged fake godman from the film. Penned by Sanjay Navgire, the song has been composed by Rohit Nagbhide and brought to life through the distinctive vocals of Mugdha Karhade. With suggestive meanings woven into its lyrics, a playful musical flavour and a sharp satirical edge to its rhythm, the song goes beyond mere entertainment. Through the metaphors of a ‘Captain’ and a ‘Boat’, it attempts to offer a witty take on leadership, opportunism and relationships revolving around power. Highlighting the political and social undertones of the narrative through music, the song becomes even more engaging with Mugdha Karhade’s spirited rendition. Tania Chatterjee has delivered a spectacular dance performance in this song, choreographed by Sahil Sah.
As intriguing as the song is the look of the alleged fake godman. The mysterious back-facing poster of the godman, which had sparked curiosity among audiences over the past few days, has finally revealed the face that was kept hidden in the shadows. The look created for #ManojJoshi is truly distinctive, and he grabbed everyone’s attention by making an appearance at the event in the same get-up. The much-discussed poster carried the message, ‘The controversial face hidden behind the scenes is about to be revealed…!!! Coming soon…’ The promise made through these words has now come true. The message had hinted at the exposure of alleged conspiracies and the faces behind them. It has now been revealed that the mysterious godman seen from behind in the much-talked-about poster will be portrayed by none other than veteran actor Manoj Joshi. Actress Deepali Sayed will also be seen in a significant role alongside him, and her look had already been unveiled earlier. However, Manoj Joshi’s face had deliberately been kept under wraps, leaving audiences curious about the true nature of his character and the mystery this godman would unravel in the film.
The film features an ensemble cast comprising Manoj Joshi, Deepali Sayed, Subodh Bhave, Uday Tikekar, Akshay Tanksale, Madhuri Pawar, Suresh Vishwakarma, Bharat Ganeshpure, Anil Nagarkar, Monika, Shivraj Walvekar, Siddheshwar Zhadbukke, Shreya Kulkarni and Rahul Belapurkar, among others.

Apeksha Gandhi Soni is in charge of costumes. Neha Ghodke has managed production planning as the Production Controller, while Sachin Ghanwat has served as the Production Head.
