Fauzi is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on December 3, 2026.

Prabhas stands as one of Indian cinema’s biggest global icons, boasting an unmatched fan base across the world. With an impressive filmography, powerful screen presence, and a stellar track record of consecutive blockbusters, his stardom remains in a league of its own.

Now, the superstar is embarking on a new chapter of his career with Fauzi, an ambitious period drama featuring him in a fierce, intense, and never-before-seen avatar. The makers recently unveiled a striking glimpse of the film, showcasing a blood-soaked Prabhas wielding a gun—a reveal that instantly went viral and skyrocketed fan anticipation.

As excitement continues to build, acclaimed cinematographer and DOP Sudeep Chatterjee—celebrated for his work on landmark films like Guzaarish, Dor, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat—is making his Telugu debut with Fauzi. He recently spoke fondly of Prabhas, emphasizing how the actor’s genuine nature naturally shines through the lens, explaining why audiences connect with him so deeply.

He shared, “Everyone I’ve worked with is special in their own right, but working with Prabhas helps you truly understand why people love him so immensely. There is genuine honesty in his eyes. There is no pretense in him whatsoever. That sincerity captures a beautiful soul through the lens, and that is precisely what resonates with the audience.”

Fauzi marks Prabhas’s grand return to the period drama genre after Baahubali, promising a visually stunning and emotionally charged cinematic experience. Being billed as one of Mythri Movie Makers’ most ambitious ventures to date, the project brings together the power-packed trio of Prabhas x Mythri Movie Makers (creators of Pushpa) x Hanu Raghavapudi (director of Sita Ramam)—a collaboration being celebrated as a true “Union of Generations.”
